New Chair Elected

I’m delighted to been voted in as Chair of the Hirwaun and Penderyn Community Council, our council is a strong group of dedicated councillors who strive to do everything to help the two villages we serve. I’d like to thank my fellow councillors for putting their faith in me, and also pay respect to my predecessor Cllr Colin Woodley for the amazing work he’s done in the last eight years as Chair, he’s been truly inspirational. It’s been a pleasure shadowing him as Vice Chair for the last three years, and I am glad he will continue to support me as my Vice Chair for this year.
