Women's Event at the Senedd

Cllrs Eryl O'Neill and Marguerite Courtney-Solbach attended a women's event in the Senedd designed to enthuse the next generation of women in politics.

The event aimed to bring together women of Wales to connect, mobilise and champion their role in Welsh democracy.

Workshops included Activism in Wales - How do I make my voice heard?, Getting Started - How does democracy affect my life?, and a talk from Helen Pankhurst who's Great Grandmother started the Suffragette movement.

Both Cllrs enjoyed the experience, where Cllr Courtney-Solbach was lucky enough to sit in the Chamber, whilst Cllr O'Neill took part from the viewing gallery.
